Testimonials: Pastors & Church Leaders (written)

"The Discipleship Master Plan seminar is most definitely THE blueprint as to how to do church in our denomination. Going back to the New Testament model, training and equipping the laity to do 'church'.

I personally teach the Discipleship Master Plan that Dr. Melvin Santos has written up and organized so nicely, to all my churches. It equips the laity to take on ministries that they are spiritually gifted for, and become a part of the growing process of our local churches. People take more ownership in what they do for the Lord and His church, and actually get to experience for themselves the Holy Spirit at work in people's lives! I also have had the privilege to teach these principles at some of our camp meetings. I personally continue to witness people grow spiritually in their relationship with our Lord, in their daily lives, utilizing the discipleship principles that Dr. Santos demonstrates and presents.

The Discipleship Master Plan redistributes the 'work' load, so-to-speak so that congregations are engaging in actual church growth. Churches become much less Pastor dependent, and more lay-driven. I have personally seen members become passionate in their ministries for the Lord!

Dr. Santos is passionate period, for training and equipping our churches to carry on The Three Angels Messages, utilizing the New Testament model, for doing 'church'. His presentations are exciting, and he uses actual training experiences in order to demonstrate how discipleship principles are to be done, Biblically. Much more beyond textbook training. What you learn is immediately applicable within our ministries. No waiting....just do it and experience the Lord spiritually growing our people!"

Discipleship Master Plan Testimony from NETS Bible Worker Student

October 23, 2015

Currently, I am a student attending the Northeast Evangelism Training School (NETS). When we are not being instructed by our director--Kevin Sears--different pastors, evangelists, laypeople, Bible workers, missionaries, and ministers are commissioned to teach us. Two weeks ago when Pastor Mel and Juliet Santos entered our classroom, I did not know I would soon be presented with one of the most dynamic, thorough programs I've had the privilege of learning.

After NETS ends, I plan to take the Discipleship Master Plan back to my church, begin reaching out to all the church members, and seeking out missing and inactive members, to be a part of a church team for spiritual support and growth. I also plan to begin instructing members on how to be leaders and disciples. And, even before I leave NETS, I want to begin fully taking on the lifestyle of a disciple of Christ. Already the very basic principle of the Discipleship Master Plan, teaching others to share, is a part of my ministry:

I have been studying with a woman from Uganda, and at the end of our first lesson, I asked if she knew anyone else who could benefit from the studies. She said yes, and we had planned to add another person to our study this week, but the other woman could not make it. Although we were unable to add the other person to our group, our contact told us how she shared the lesson we gave her with her friend at church, and that they read it together. She also told us that she shared what we studied in her phone prayer group. I believe my very simple question, "do you know anyone else who would like to study," is part of what prompted her to go and teach, and share what she had been taught.

Wherever the Lord decides to lead me after graduating from NETS, I will have and live the Discipleship Master Plan. Whether I find myself leading a group of young people, folding burritos at Taco Bell, or singing before thousands, I will seek first to be a disciple; then to make disciples.
